Gosh, a Thursday without Ashes cricket! It feels like buying 5th day tickets for a Sunday and hoping for an exciting finish, only to watch the contest finished on Friday while you’re still at work! With HKCC coming to town this weekend, we will have a couple of social events First up is social drinks from around 9pm at Hit Wicket on Friday. See also the Presentation Dinner on Saturday.

A presentation dinner at Hit Wicket on Saturday night. It’ll be a 150pp buffet with free flow beers and wine from 7pm-9pm, with drinks specials covering the rest of the evening. I presume some time before this there will be some cricket played.
