Who’s Up for Games over May Holiday?
A message from the SCC regarding playing games over the May and June holidays. Please reply below if you are available during the holiday so we can assess numbers and see if we’ll be able to get some cricket in.

All,
Owing to the SRFC pitch situation, we now have a lot of pressure on the schedule. We may be able to make it up later on, but it will mean that teams don’t play many games – 15 teams with a maximum of 4 matches per weekend, not allowing for public holidays or weekends when either Dulwich or SRFC is unavailable due to events.
One way to ease this would be to play over the May holiday weekend, and the public holiday weekend of June 16th. We could rack up loads of games then as Saturdays and Sundays may be available. I know some people will be away but it will be the same for both sides. It is also unlikely that one or two key players being away for one game is going to affect the season greatly…
So if you think you are able to put out a team on either of those weekend (whatever division) please let me know by the end of Tuesday.
Even though it’s not ideal in terms of games played per division, I believe next weekend’s schedule should stand as it may take some time to sort everything out and will leave little time to arrange teams otherwise.

My Chinese wedding is May 2nd. So I'm out. If we aren't playing that weekend I'd love to see the Bashers do Hong Shan and Loosen up some of the new family! I've insisted on as rural a wedding as possible. More details coming soon.

I vote for loosening up some of Filthy's new family. Sounds better than 'sixes' (probably) cricket to me.

I've got a trip planned to Japan for late April/Early June but dont want to go and since May I'm going to be back drinking,I might stay in Shanghai and hit the REEB [thats beer spelt backwards. Great marketing!]. Bye & kisses.

Out for May game on Sunday (away) unless they want to play it Monday! Also out for June... Unfort will have left SH! Hopefully get one game in (which may lead to the new knickname of Vanilla Ice - the one hit wonder...)

May Holiday is from May1-3, with some businesses and government offices closed on April 30 and May 4. Games would be on Sat and Sun. Golden Shears is available Sat. and Whipper reckons he can't make either day.
