Pirates vs HKCC Report

HKCC beat Pirates in an Exciting Finish The Pirates match against HKCC drew an overwhelming response of players available for the fixture, so the Pirates squad swelled to 13 players, including Bashers: Shit Shoes (c), Bambi, Swiper, Long Dong, Paps, and future Basher, Joshua Williams.

Leapord can’t change its spots!

The big game of will he or won't he. The morning started with "will Skiddy and Bambi get on the leisure bus to support the boys and sledge the dirty doggies?" - They won't. The after effects of Kakadu Free flow and DJ Beast combined with "alarm not going off" to be blamed. Shit excuse of the year goes to Bambi.

Sir Dick’s Arkham- Pleasure to Play-offs

On the sunny morning, it all began- Skiddy's led the Pleasure lads on the conquest for a place in the Play-offs. With hesitation and sleep in their eyes, the team went to smash those cunning Pudong twats. It seemed like the high tempo was temporarily taken aback by the vegetarian pies. Special mention for Sir Dick who used a click-counter to score the Pudong team while the Bashers were on the field to avoid any rigging of the scorecard.

Bashers Pocket Squares Coming Soon

Aug. 20 Pleasure vs Hangzhou — You’ve been… Thunderstruck!

You know you're in for an unpredictable day when Fruitbox a) turns up sober for a Bashers bus and b) introduces a returning Basher (Pigu) who was almost short enough to look Skiddy in the eye without seeming condescending.

Pleasure cruise to defeat – Sunday Aug 6th

The pleasure were up for a mid-table medley on Sunday as they went into battle against Pu Dong. Pu Dong were right behind the Bashers on the table so a win would put some distance between Pudong and launch the Pleasure into the playoffs.

Rain Lubricates Leisure Title Journey

Imperial Leisure assured their place in the playoffs on Saturday after gaining a point for a tie, but missing out on a win that would have put them into second place. Leisure batted first, putting on a testing 165, with an excellent return to form for Fruitbox with a well-crafted 50. In reply Hot Dogs could only manage a measly 55 off 10 overs before monsoon conditions stopped play, and the match was called off.

IT TAKES ONE TO TANGO!

It’s good to have the pies, ice, esky and beers as we get onto the bus, and bad to not have 11 players for the game. But, as Skiddy had used only his hands to count the players for the game, we only had 10. After consulting with legal counsel, Skiddy called in “Aaron” (as named on the scorecard) to make an 11. Thanks to “Aaron” for accepting the late call up and arriving by the second over…let’s just presume he was sitting kitted-up at Century Ave Metro, just in-case the call came in.

10 Wicket Win, Leisure vs Daredevils – 30th July 2017

Weary, haggard faces all round at the Camel, mostly due to the age of the team;  Rash,  Spanner and Pope just not looking after themselves. Team accounted for,  Eskies full, pies available, bus adjacent, we headed out.
