We are entering Round 2 of this years competition. First up – a rematch against our friends at K2.

The game is this Sunday, 18th July, at the SRFC. Match begins at 12:30.

Business have a game this weekend and as always there are spots available so practice is key!!

Gentlemen, here is the line-up for Sunday. As is often the case, we were not able to squeeze everyone in and my apologies for this. However, thanks for sticking up your hands and look forward to getting you a run at some juncture. Bus will depart form The Camel at 12:00. One full bottle down-down for every minute past 12:00 so watch the timekeeping! Looking forward to a resounding victory! Jimmy.

Tickets are out. Pot Bellied Pigs have provisionally allocated me 10 of which 4 are spoken for. Price is HK$1000 (B class). Can’t remember who else asked although I think Woodstock and Golden Shears asked for tickets previously. Need to confirm by Saturday. Let me know if you want one.

Like last time before the game at HK Football Club there will probably be some form of lunch at the HK Football Club hosted by I think Eric Rush and some Aussie whose name I forget. Gavin Hastings and I planning to host a table that the ticket holders would be welcome to attend. Also the Pigs will be having a Piggy shindig the night before with some drunk rugby has -beens doing their drunk rugby thing where the Fat Man will doing his Fat Man MC stuff.

Our official charity the Million Tree Project is having a big shindig!

Dr Jane Goodhall (yes the gorilla lady), who is the driving force behind Roots & Shoots is coming to town and the Bashers & Geishas are invited. It’d be great to get a table together to blazer it up and support this. Details on the flyer below. We can’t promise it’ll be like Danny at the sixes dinner but that’s no reason for the Bashers not to get amongst it!

If you go to a football game in a strange land, get drunk and fraternize with the locals always advisable to use a pseudonym.

We’ve all been out of action for a while so let’s get back into it. Come and enjoy the ‘warmth’ of a jaunt around the tennis courts and perhaps bowl a ball or two between ciggies. (In now way directed towards Leppa and Woody exclusively).

Pleasure have a game this Sunday and it looks like every man and his dog wants to play so a little practice might help.
