Girls Like Mystery Show
Hey guys,
my band will be headlining our first show this coming Saturday. So just seeing if maybe a few of you fancy checking us out. We will be playing at Live Bar which is quite far away, but a bus will be taking people from the Camel to the show and returning for 30 kuai. Let me know soon if you wanna join as the seat for the bus are selling out. Hope to see a few of you at the show.

Triple header this Sunday so we need to see unprecedented attendance figures for training. No bullshit excuses like "I have to work", "It's our wedding anniversary" or "I'm in India".

Japan Earthquake Cricket Appeal – Cricket For Smiles
Following the Earthquake in Japan, the Japanese cricketers lead by Ema KuribayashiĂ‚Â are doing what they do best and thatĂ‚Â is trying to bring a smile back to the faces of the people impacted by the EarthquakeĂ‚Â particularly the kids. Between July and December this year they plan to introduce 25,000 kids to cricket in the Earthquake impacted areas by holding fun coaching clinics somewhat modeled on our own Sport For All programme in Shanghai.Ă‚Â They need equipment and some cash but again true to form they are not asking for a lot.Ă‚Â They would like as many cricketers around the World to wear the "Cricket For Smiles" iron on patch on their cricket shirts with each patchĂ‚Â been given in return for an RMB 80 equivalent donation.Ă‚Â Ă‚Â
SRFC Update
Preceding the SRFC's official Grand Opening on Saturday there will be a SRFC Board meeting this Thursday. So if any Bashers whether they be Ctte, Life Members or regular punters want feedback on anything or have issues they want to raise by all means let me know directly and I'll try and respond (does not have to be limited to cricket).  Develpments going on SRFC that currently have some impact on cricket are:

BASHERS Representation in SCC – Your Nomination is needed!!
Dear ALL,
finally it is upon us where the SCC becomes an entity for the clubs....
The positions in the SCC are serious as we need people committed to making the club grow and willing to help out. So although many might feel that one or two are suitable, they need to realize that there is commitment required and its not just something to not take seriously otherwise we end up having the SCC become a joke again.
