Sichuan School Sports Day 2011
As usual given the total lack of interest from the hieracrchy of Shanghai Cricket (except Bashers) to support the school in Sichuan outside help has been organised. Last time Japan Cricket stepped up to the plate. This year both the Xiamen Typhoons and the Chengdu Pandas have committed resources to drink Zhou Hua dry and help organise the sports day for the kids. The visit will coincide with the October rugby fest in Chengdu on Oct 15th. We will hit Zhou Hua on the 13th and the do the sports on the 14th. Pat Man from Xiamen and I are bringing our kids. Although this is early notice don't complain you did not know the dates.... Wayne, Pat Man and Bundy Boy are already confirmed. Any Basher with a business in Chengdu (Dipso) and who has a property in Chengdu (Dipso) is highly encouraged to come along.

Madein’s Diary…I mean the Leisure Match report
8th May 2011
I awoke early from the bright hot sunshine striking my picturesque physique at about 6am. Alarm hadn't gone off, so I went back to sleep for the remaining 30 minutes. The normal alarm went off, so I tried to ignore it. Unfortunately the kids were more keen to go to cricket than I was an immediately rushed me in bed to drag me out for the first Leisure game of the season. No sleep, so time to exact revenge for my lack of sleep on the poor unfortunate souls that play for The Team That May Not Be Named.

With the social committee gone all international i guess it falls to me to let anyone who doesn't already know that the second Bashers quiz has been booked in for the Camel this Saturday the 14th.

Business and Leisure go into battle Sunday, May 15th against K2 and Dulwich Knights respectively.

Below are the squads for this weekends triple header.
Leisure bus leaves the Camel (1 Yue Yang Lu) at 7.30am before returning to pick the Business and Pleasure, who leave the Camel at 10.30am. Please leave a message below informing your captains how you'll be getting to the ground.
