Took the train out to SRFC to find chaos, fences down, trees in tatters. No game. Cheers skip! 150 years of England vs Australia will be celebrated by a one off test at the MCG. 100,000 screaming fans. Bashers getting amongst it. Test cricket at it's finest.

Now that the 2010 cricket season has officially turned into somewhat of a circus, its time the club got backs its roots and got amongst it. The world cup is over and August is poised to be a right off for cricket so lets get social.
Bashers Business vs K2 18 July 2010 Lumberjack report
It was a bright blue sky that greeted the Bashers Business team as they made their way to the Camel for a 10.15am sharp departure to the SRFC to take on K2 again. Sir Dick managed to be on time but Sinbad was 15 minutes late. Not bad considering he had 2 hours kip.
Nanjng 6s set to eclipse Shanghai 6s? (at least in 2010)
FYI. See e-mail copy from SCC's Mr "Excom" below with 6's update / news of postponment this year. Also learnt a bit of related trivia on Friday - Woodstock designed the Shanghai 6s logo 11 years ago.
