Bashers Kick Off Party 2013 – Now at the new Blarney Stone!

VENUE CHANGE!! – – Due to the Camel Back Bar being taken over for the new Ladies Night we have had to change venue and we are getting a sneak peak at the new Blarney Stone on Yong Kang Lu.
Well this is it. No excuses. The President has rallied his troops and thus would like to invite all eligible 2013 Bashers to the New Blarney Stone on March 14th at 8pm. Anyone training can come afterwards. Shouldn’t take more than an hour —yeah right!!!
Also gives me an opportunity to invite everyone back for another exciting year of cricket and scandalous behavior!!!
This is our first official kick off for the upcoming year. Some big expectations on the cricket side in 2013 with Dags, Div 3 Captain , already touting a repeat of last year’s form. Some interesting tours to learn about and of course some great events planned….
Schedule As Follows:-
1. 8pm -Start
Drinking to commence
2. 9pm – Presentation – once training guys have arrived
More Drinking, and settling in
Season Breakdown, New Sponsors Welcomed, Schedule review -Cricket and social
3. 9.30 -More Drinking, general ‘carrying on’ to begin
6’s tours announced, Jaguar tour announced
Kit updates, Basher’s shot updates
4. 10pm – Website launch (don’t know too much about this one— but please continue drinking)
And now that everyone has had their fill they need to cough up their 2013 Fee’s. (If you don’t have cash you better have plastic)
5. 10:30 Onwards -Full metal Looseness to take its place!!!
This event will give everyone a chance to catch up and meet their favorite Bashers…. like Sinbad. Any of you who haven’t met him as yet you better be quick. As he’ll soon be on the boat to start a new life counting chicken nuggets and drinking bars dry elsewhere in the World. The Jaguar may also make a special guest appearance to drum up support for The 2013 Jaguars Italian tour. Look for him,, he’ll be best dressed. And I believe The Pope might also be making a surprise announcement on why he sabotaged the Catholic church recently whilst on secondment to Italy for 3 months.
This year will be a Basher’s year to remember themed around family and also our cultural diversity. Last year The Bashers were all about ‘It’s a Lifestyle’ and in 2013 we are going to try and encompass all the little Bashers and Geishers more at events and as spectators during our games. Food and alcohol will of course be mandatory to ensure we keep in high spirits throughout the season.
Any suggestions around events can always be put forward, but we are hoping to do more outings, and get togethers away from our usual watering holes, to allow the wider Basher community (and friends) to participate.
