I am completely misquoted in the article about being inspired by my ‘Tubby’ Basher’s name to lose weight – I don’t know what they are talking about my nickname had nothing to do with my soft edges – I was clearly christened Tubby due to my cheerful demeanor and debut match spectacular diving one handed catch at first slip a’la Mark ‘Tubby’ Taylor – who also happened to be a prime physical specimen of a man and firm believer in positive chirp.

I am led to believe that the show will air on August 4th – I don’t have ICS on my telly nor will I be in the country then, but I am assured that it will appear on the web and they will send me a DVD which I will forward to the Basher’s PR department in exchange for five rambos for dropping the Bashers name on TV.

There we go. Gates are wide open. Sledge away lads.

ps. This is (only) the second time in the last week where I have been ‘out-gunned’ in the biceps department after that he-man from K2 out-flexed me on Sunday. At least this time I am being defeated by a professional body-builder, and he is clearly closer to the camera.
