Bashers Cricket Club
Run Basher Run.
Bashers have been called of a lot of things in their time, but athletic was never one of them.
In the name of getting in to a little bit of shape and undoing a few seasons worth of alcohol abuse, the Bashers will be entering into the Shanghai Marathon.
I have trained twice for the marathon and made it to the start line nonce. So the added incentive to make it this time is that we are running to raise money. All proceeds to Big Geoff
The buy in is RMB 600.This covers the entry fee (RMB 150) and also lands you a brand new pair of adidas running shoes (RMB 800) and running kit (RMB TBC)
You decide if you want to run the full or the half.
So now all we need are Bashers (and Geishers).
So far confirmations are in from:

- Miss Stats
- Lady Dick
We will have an official weigh in at the Camel on Thursday the 22nd of July. Who will shed the most pounds out of SinBad or Latex? Who will cross the line first out of Ollie and Sir Dick?
Training needs to start ASAP. So make the call and get amongst it.

yeehah. i am in the zone - even dreamt I was running a marathon last night.
i hope i can finish the marathon! are we allowed to run with a BEER in hand???

1st road run done and I made it back to the Bamboo so a start. If I can get involved the rest of you can, lets try and make the Wednesday night run the regular group run for us.
