Duckworth Lewis – It’s total bollocks
Tonight I was told that the Leisure lost their first game against Pudong due to some contrived rule realated to Duckworth Lewis rule. The SCC needs to get a life. At the lower level of cricket SCC they should be encouraging people to play not revisit a bad experience with their high school maths teacher. This ruling is utter nonsense not only because it is incompensible but because every game relies on impartial umpies from both sides which is not the case. The Law is an Ass or as we say in Glasgow “total bollocks”. I might be old fashioned but I used to think that the most runs won the game and if the weather got in the way then it was a draw and off to the Pub.

I agree. To pull a stunt like this against a Div 3 side just shows the true character of some people...
World 2020 is showing that DL is heavily favouring the chasing side. Shouldn't bother applying it till the system is fixed for the shortest forms of the game.
The problem is the other teams are jam-packed with Douches, who spend their waking moments lobbying the SCC (also full of Douches?)for this shit? either we say "fuck the points", or we hire a full time Douche... any takers?

the right honourable duckworth and lewis were indeed from england, and i find it very hard to understand the 'hullaballoo' - it really is a very easy system to understand... just ask mark boucher, or kapitelli.
