Bowls, Cricket, Netball even a bit of Football

Baser update on indoor options at nforce!

Sept 13 is the launch of the Family Bowls League at nforce. Teams of 3-6 playing over 6 Friday nights ending in finals early December. Essentially fortnightly to allow for those of wavering commitment.
(For those without family ones can be picked cheaply on the street outside the arena).

Cpt Poppy is leading the charge with the Mongrels in the Wednesday Indoor Cricket League. Korean and myself have made an appearance along with a couple of Peking’s recruits who are definitely Basher material! Plenty of room in the league for any others than want a trundle of a Wednesday evening!

The arena also hosts monthly football and netball tournaments. It would be great seeing a Bashers side in either/both of these too. Poppy, Shitshoes and Korean looked very composed alongside Squeaky in the tense netball match against South Africa at the Shosholoza Sports Day last week so certainly something work with there!

The Winter Sunday League will start Nov 3rd with a FREE open day the Sunday previous (Oct 27th). The committee will have more on this shortly!
