VENUE:Â The Camel Bar, 1 Yueyang Road (Near Dongping Rd). STARTS: Thursday JULY 1st at 6.30pm
As some of you may have heard, Geoff ‘Slab’ Howe, our largest Basher, suffered a severe stroke 2 weeks ago and had to be airlifted to Hong Kong.
He now needs to be taken back to Australia for recovery and needs our support.
We hope to raise some serious cash to help him in what will be a long and difficult recovery. Any donations for raffle prizes or auction items ( if appropriate) will be greatly appreciated.
Spread the word.
Tickets on sale now. get them from The Camel, Kakadu or the SRFC. They will continue to be sold until it’s drawn at the Bashers Trivia World Cup on July 1st when all the prizes will be drawn and some more great prizes will be auctioned.
Prizes so far for the raffle:
Anyone who wishes to pledge cash or a prize should send their pledges to Denzyl at president@basherscc.org.

To let people know, Donelli Wines is donating a case of sparkling Prosecco wine, with a retail value of 750RMB! Get involved!
In rural Nanjing we have already raised 3k rmb and will raise more. Hammer is bringing in another book of tickets later today. Jimmy's is also doing to donate 10% of our sales on July 2nd (should be a big night of biz because World Cup quarter finals will be on). We will also be holding an auction the same night with random dinners, hotel stays, Cases of Beer and any thing else we can get our hands on from local business's to raise money for Geoff and his family. Would be great if some of the guys from Shanghai could make the trip for the event. Any new word on how Geoff is doing?
