    SICS Officials

    It’s coming down to it now and we’re putting the pieces in place. Always one of the toughest hurdles is Scorers and Umpires. I’m putting big pressure on the other clubs to step up this year and i hope i can rely upon the Bashers again showing the way. Basically we need as many of you as possible to put your hands up NOW and say “yes i can count and i’d be happy to give a few hours of my time during the tournament to make it run nice and smooth” Anyone with black pants who knows a thing or two about cricket is welcome to do some umpiring. Come on guys don’t be shy – lets show these other freeloaders how to rock this.

      I don’t have enough experience in either scoring or umpiring. You said a monkey can operate the scoreboard…probably not qualified, but I’ll give it a go

      Would love to come play, operate scoreboard, etc. Unfortunately I will be taking up new posting in Hainan as of 17th September, so won’t be able to attend. Will organise a night for some beverages before we go though.

      Those who can umpire , throw a pair of black pants into the bag with a white shirt , we want you all to look the part .
      If you wear a HOOTERS shirt am sure you will Score !!

      bring your shirt and pants in case but apparently we have four umpires to do the whole weekend
      still need scorers and board ops though – i’ll send out a schedule later.
