Shanghai Night Fever

Following last year’s success, Shanghai’s best 70s and 80s fancy dress party “Shanghai Night Fever” returns on Saturday September 7th. We are hoping that like last year this event will serve to bring all members of SCC together along with several non-SCC folks.
The party kicks off at the Camel, where a special happy hour is available for early birds. Buses with free flow alcohol will then take party goers to the SRFC, where some of the era’s finest music and memorabilia will greet you. As well as a raffle, there will also be prizes for ‘best dressed’ guy, girl and group, so it’s a golden opportunity to rewatch some of your favourite movies for insipiration! A percentage of proceeds will be going to our charity partner BEAN, who are raising money to equip a library for migrant children in Baoshan. (fyi…cricketing community raised over RMB 3000 in raffle ticket sales for BEAN during the recent tennis ball sixes tournament)

- Date: Saturday 7th September
- Venue: Camel, then buses to SRFC from 8.00-9.00pm, returning 12.30-1.30am
- Ticket Price: Advance (before August 31st) 200RMB, Regular 250RMB
- Includes: Unlimited drinks on buses there/back, 3 free drinks at SRFC, Happy Hour at the Camel, 25RMB Happy Hour at SRFC

I went last year, it's a good craic. I will be in attendance again this year. Thoroughly recommended..
Echoing the Papal Words - I was there last year, very good indeed. This year - I am depending on the little one behaving - will be there for the Camel part, and will see if I can sneak on the bus...
