Pre-season Chongming Tour

We’re in the process of putting together an impromptu pre-season tour to Chongming island. Like last years trip to Songjiang we’re going to play a team of Chinese students, several of which played for the Bashers last season, in a 25 over match. We believe this is a good and fun experience for them as well as possibly gaining us a few new recruits.

The plan is to leave on the Saturday morning, play a game of cricket, then stay the night and embrace what Chongming has to offer on the Sunday.

We are staying in a resort next to the Dongping National Forest Park. Lots of things to be done on the Sunday in the park including renting bikes, paintballing, something called grass skiing(?), or just chilling out with a BBQ next to the lake.

Bring luncheon and drinks with you for the trip and the match.

Saturday dinner has been booked at a restaurant near the hotel.
