It's finally here. Good luck to the two Bashers teams heading down to Xiamen this weekend. Its going to be a big one!

We are less than 2 weeks away from the 3rd annual Xiamen 666's. This year is looking good with a solid line up of Bashers heading down in 2 teams. This thursday night we will be having a team selection auction at the Camel from 8pm.

SCC Pirates vs Lamma CC

Since I missed most of the actual game in the video, it is necessary to record some of the events of the day. I arrived at 11am as the token 3rd Division player selected - still something of a mystery to me too! The SCC shirt was provided, complete with dashing SCC-red stripes on the sides, and offering an interesting colour combination with the Bashers CC trousers and cap (marginally better than the Korean's flaming orange hat). The Bashers CC were represented by the "Inquisition", "Tank", and myself - plus we provided the scorer and umpire!

Dragons vs Japanese Men’s National Side

Guys Match will be against the Japanese Men's National team. This will be against a serious team, as we will be Japan's last warm-up match befoe they depart for the Men's World Cricket League tournament in Samoa from September 9-23.

THE NANJING’ WALL EXPERIENCE

Today the 600-year-old city wall of Nanjing still stands. Different from ancient city walls in Beijing and Xi'an, its design and construction was unique and changed the old ways of equilibrium and symmetry. The construction concentrated on military defense because the city was at the foot of a mountainâ€”a natural barrier to control the commanding elevation with the river as its natural city moat. Because of this, the 60-square-kilometer Nanjing city became strategically located and difficult to reach.
