Leisure vs Daredevils DUI – match report

The ongoing risk of rain, the typhoon warning, and an early morning start couldn't keep Leisure from fielding a full side (and then some) against our worthy opponents - who although were unable to fill a team, managed to post a 98 run total for Leisure to chase.

Bashers Pleasure vs Pudong Power June 5 2011

Bashers Pleasure lost the toss and were put in to the field on an overcast afternoon. Captain Bugs set an aggressive field blessed as he was with a strong bowling line-up. The Dog and Kit Bag got things off to a steady start with Kit Bag removing one of the Pudong openers in his second over.

Leisure v Hot Dogs (real match report). Apologies for the one sent out after a few rounds of shots.

Leisure faced an entirely new look Hot Dogs team who used modern technology and our club captain's ignorance of the rules to thwart us. We were also not helped by the Dulwich Security Gestapo who refused to allow us access to the toilets.

Bashers CC Pleasure vs Hot Dogs-22 May 2011 SRFC

A blustery, windy day at SRFC saw Bashers win the toss and take first dig- The Korean and Pit Stop were making good progress against some wayward opening bowling when a running mix-up saw Pit Stop caught well outside his ground as the ball which was hit directly to the fielder was returned neatly over the stumps.

Leisure vs. Dulwich, May 15 2011

It may have been the Lord's day but the time and the place were ungodly: 7:15am on a Sunday, sniffing crusted-up spunk and stale vomit outside the Camel Bar. Those fine ladies that walk the night were still flitting about, greeting the forces of Leisure as we arrived. Their faces reminded us of dropped mince pies, sparking a hunger for the bus ride.

Nanjing 6’s Sunday – Basher on Basher

As the Bashers slowly congregated in the lobby of the tallest and most expensive hotel in Nanjing (possibly Jiangsu) a few things became evident:
