Too much sauce for the dirty Hot Dogs
Far too early for a Sunday morning, Bashers from all over Shanghai were waking from alcohol-induced comas to prepare for what would be a solid day of cricket for Bashers B(ambi).

A game of Cricket was played at Wellington last Sunday boys and girls, but something far more important was at hand: it was Truffle’s final game (for now?). Despite a wet, smelly and sticky start at the camel involving a traffic cop cracking the shits and blokes waiting far too long for lattes, we were on road with Truffles leading the charge as Captain.

Torrential rain had dashed the hopes of the Business an agonizing three overs short of a spectacular win over the Hot Dogs on Saturday. The rain continued overnight to leave the SCSC field saturated and sloppy with mud, more fitting for a rugby game than a cricket match.
Lumberjack: Leisure Vs Dukes – June 19
After seeing their previous game rained out, the Bashers Leisure were keen to get out in the sunshine and get amongst it. The Bashers hadn’t supped from the furry cup of success since April the 24th. After a rained out game and a thrashing at the hands of Dukes it was time to make amends.
Lumberjack: Double the Pleasure
Nobody was appointed lumberjack two games ago, so this is a double report. The observant among you may notice some use of cut and paste to save time.

Friday Night
The touring party of 12 Bashers made their way to Nanjing on Friday night, with 2 reinforcements arriving on Saturday morning (Tyrone R. and B.S. posting cocktail selfies as they passed Wuxi at 7.30am).

The Bashers are on the bus and desperately seeking captain Cassius' approval for the title of "Owner of the most accurate weather app" - Swoop narrowly missing out with his bold claim of "I am absolutely certain that it will not rain today".
Pleasure and Rain
Some things are better when wet; beer, sails, vaginas, but not necessarily cricket.
Bashers Leisure v Pudong 24 Apr Lumberjack
Leisure took on Pudong, our great rivals in D3. The morning started off disapointingly for Truffles as he trundled down to The Camel a few minutes early to meet his Sunday morning fluffer out on the front steps but alas this week there was no pre-game warm up and we all hoped the day would improve from there.
