Bashers Pre-season Schedule 2012
UPDATE—Please note a date change for the Business and a time change for the Leisure.
Welcome to the 2012 Shanghai Cricket season!
The 2012 SCC League opening day has been confirmed as Sunday March 18th and we have games scheduled for the Business and Pleasure that weekend. The Leisure team isn’t down to start until April 8th.
Here is the pre-season schedule that will help blow out the cobwebs and have us ready to go.
Please make a note of these dates in your diaries.
Thursday 16th Feb – Shanghai Sports Awards @ The Camel 7PM
Thursday 23rd Feb – Nets @ 123 Yanping Road 6PM
Friday 24th Feb – Welcome back drinks @ The Camel 7PM
Thursday 1st March – Nets @ 123 Yanping Road 6PM
Sunday 4th March – Full morning practice @ SRFC
Thursday 8th March – Nets @ 123 Yanping Road 6PM
Sunday 11th March – Full morning practice @ SRFC
Thursday 15th March – Nets @ 123 Yanping Road 6PM
Sunday 18th March – Season Starts
Pleasure vs Devils Doosra 1:30PM start @ SRFC Far pitch
Sunday 25th March
Daredevils vs Business 12:15PM start @ SRFC Near pitch
Pleasure vs Hot Dogs 1:30PM start @ SRFC Far pitch
Training will then run every Thursday at 123 Yanping Road.
Please can you all post a note in the comments confirming you have read this post and your team captains will also be getting in contact directly over the next week.
Each event above will go up on the blog separately as we draw closer to these dates.
There are lots of plans being made for this season and a lot of cricket to be played. Once the full season schedule is in place I will update the calendar with tours and social details.

Very impressive Latex. I am out with a some guys and colleagues back in town for an ad hoc reunion and who reckon they played in the first cricket game in Shanghai post the revolution. If we make it out of Tams bar in one piece we will see you Thursday night.
Looking forward to another exciting year of cricket with thr Bashers. And of course lots of laughs and a few casual sledges along the way.. oh,, won't forgot all the beer that needs to be drank as well......

Not going to lose that flab if we follow Sinbad's programme - I think I gained weight just reading his blog posts today. I'll be around for everything. I haven't played cricket in a beanie for a while.

Just an update- there is no BUSINESS game on March 18th! The first Business game will be March 25th (this means a lot more WOOHOO for me at the Irish Ball!!!)- this is all considering I get picked for Biz!
