To celebrate a successful season on and off the field, The Shanghai Bashers Cricket Club are proud to invite you to our annual BBQ. Our sponsor Kakadu/Modern Art Kitchen have kindly agreed to host us once again in their newly refurbed restaurant. So come on down at 1pm on Saturday 8th September for some great food and drink to toast the season.
For 320 RMB, Kakadu are going to be serving up a real feast of meat and booze with an Antipodean twist. Emu, Crocodile and Barramundi will be on the menu as well as BBQ classics like chicken fillets, pork ribs, steak and sausages. Away from dead animals there will be gourmet salads, vegetable dishes and sweet fruits. To wash it all down, Kakadu have kindly offered us 3 hours free flow of Aussie wine, beer, spirits, juices and soft drinks.
For entertainment there will be a Bouncy Castle for the kids (please Bambi, stay off it), great prizes to be won in the raffle. As we are a competitive bunch, we will have another run of the Thong Throwing Tournament, a bit of Beer Pong and a Cornhole competition (it’s not what it sounds like…).
