Gaelic Football – All Nations Cup

Once again the Bashers have been invited to join the Gaelic Football Club at their annual All Nations Cup. The Bashers have been joining in with this for the last few years and I’ve been told it’s been good day out.

The idea is we got to the SCSC and play a sport called Gaelic Football which looks a bit like a mix between rugby, football and AFL as far as I can tell from looking at a couple of photos. We’re not completely left in the dark as we get some experienced ringers to play for us as well and show us the ropes.

The aim of the tournament is to introduce players to the sport so if it’s your first time then all the better! And no matter what happens on the field, we know we can always win off the field.

The tournament starts around midday at the SCSC. Those wanting to take taxis together can meet at the Camel at 11am.
