WHAT: Bashers Training & Team Building
WHERE: SRFC Nets
WHEN: Sunday, 11am-1pm (or meet at Camel at 10am to share a taxi)
The Leisure couldn’t quite get the Bashers off to a winning start on the weekend despite a couple of worthy debuts from Truffles and Hard-on. On the 20th April the Business and Pleasure boys have matches, so everyone should get down the nets this Sunday to make sure you get some practice in before the first game (unlike the Leisure who gave up more than 40 wides and used their first match as a training run – where are you Looooosey?)… Those who have turned up for training at the nets have affirmed it’s value for getting into some form before the season starts – and the temperature is perfect at the moment for a few cold refreshments afterwards!
On another note, the Leisure have gradually absorbed approximately half the club (or more), while the Pleasure and Business squads have thinned out over the winter. So we will need some Leisure boys to step up and play for the Pleasure during the season, and likewise, some Pleasure boys may have to step up and play for the Business as well. So those who are up for a game of cricket should make themselves available regardless of division to support the club.
Finally, those who haven’t yet paid their subs (2500rmb) for the year should pass them on to Pope or their team captain (Stats, Swoop or Dags).
Thanks, S.S.

I'll be at The Camel 10am to watch SS pick up the kit.
see you at SRFC. Too far to come to supervise the kit thing...
I'll go to the Camel for 10, for SS to get us a taxi (with the kit)
i'll be there
Hey SS I ordered 2 training shirts so can I pick up at Camel Sunday? Also with subs
Yes - that's fine Shears, see you Sunday...
Hi. I'm new to the club but am up for nets/team bonding/any excuse for a drink. Are people still meeting at the camel at 10? If so count me in.
We missed you at yesterday's training, Shears and Tantric! Also missed the kitbag/taxi help that Swoop, SS etc all mentioned above ... once we got to SRFC, none of us knew the kitbag was in the boot and the taxi drove away. Lucky the driver came back about 10 minutes later and dropped off the temporarily-kidnapped kitbag.....
