{"id":8462,"date":"2012-07-03T22:21:58","date_gmt":"2012-07-03T14:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basherscc.org\/blog\/?p=8462"},"modified":"2012-07-20T10:29:56","modified_gmt":"2012-07-20T02:29:56","slug":"scc-dragons-pirates-selection-for-the-breezer-trophy-squad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basherscc.org\/blog\/scc-dragons-pirates-selection-for-the-breezer-trophy-squad\/","title":{"rendered":"SCC Dragons \/ Pirates selection for the Breezer Trophy Squad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Coming up later this month the SCC have their first competitive fixture of the year against Lamma CC from Hong Kong for the Breezer Trophy.<\/p>\n<p>It will consist of a Dragons match on the Saturday and a Pirates match on the Sunday (details below).<\/p>\n<p>Please can you post availability for either\/both the Dragons and Pirates squads before June 10th.<\/p>\n<p>The final squads will be announced on Tuesday, July 17th via shanghaicricket.com<\/p>\n<p>Breezer Trophy Weekend\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8\u00c2\u00b7<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, July 20th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Evening: \u00c2\u00a0Welcome drinks at Big Bamboo<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday, July 21st<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>10.15 am :\u00c2\u00a0<strong>Breezer Challenge, 50 overs match with SCC Dragons at SRFC\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Evening: Presentation Dinner inter-club social mixer<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunday, July 22nd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>10.30 am : Social 20 over match with SCC Pirates at SRFC<\/p>\n<p>For those that don&#8217;t the Dragons and Pirates are SCC select teams.<\/p>\n<p>Dragons: The best team of players available that meet selection criteria. Players picked on past Dragons performances, SCC trial form and league form in that order of weight.<\/p>\n<p>Pirates: A squad that is representative of a cross section of the league that includes players from each club and division (where possible). To be picked for the Pirates is a reward for those that have given their time and efforts to the SCC.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the Dragons\/Pirates you must have<br \/>\na) played for the Dragons\/Pirates in the past and have a currently paid up membership to one of the member clubs<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nb) played in the SCC League within the previous 12 months<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coming up later this month the SCC have their first competitive fixture of the year against Lamma CC from Hong Kong for the Breezer Trophy.
