So after a boisterous training session it was back to the Member’s End for the second ever Bashers Player Auction.<\/p>\n

First though to select two skippers. After the internet poll there were 9 Bashers in a bunched peleton with no clear leaders so an extra round of votes was taken from those present and Latex somehow came out a clear leader and so took the reigns of the Camel Bashers. In second place was returning Basher Pru, on the strength of her being the first to captain a Bashers side to silverware. She leads the Just Beer Bashers in Nanjing. Final poll results are down below somewhere.<\/p>\n

Next step the auction.<\/p>\n

The remaining 12 players were offered in random order with each skipper having 1,000,000 Bahsers Bucks to spend in total on six player each. First lot was Made In. Birdshit was the final lot (theoretically to go to the team who hadn’t filled their quota by then). In a stunning turnaround however Filthy was passed over by both skippers in the first round of bidding.<\/p>\n

      Pru was left with 245,000 Bashers Bucks which equates to 245rmb into the tour drinking kitty. Latex, 293,000 = 293rmb.<\/p>\n
