1st Quiz Night of 2009! BLACK FRIDAY QUIZ \u00e2\u20ac\u201c FRIDAY 13th FEB, Start approx 8 PM<\/p>\n
That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s right, the ever popular Bashers Cricket Club Quiz Night is back for 2009! The 1st edition for \u00e2\u20ac\u212209 is kicking off NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT at the usual location [Sticky Wicket Bar, Big Bamboo].<\/p>\n
Come one come all for a great night of beers, debauchery, general drunkard-ness, a few questions and someone eventually sculling the Jack Daniels runners-up prize. <\/p>\n
100 RMB x person [unless they are naked where they can \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcplay\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 for free] with teams ideally around 4 pax. As we haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t had a team get-together for a while, try to make it down and catch up with your fellow Bashers and regale stories of being credit punched and being unemployed. That said; bring your friends, Ayi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, wives, Tongren Lu lady boys and any random punter who still has a few brain cells bouncing around in their heads\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n
There is a ODI Australia v NZ that afternoon from around 11:15 AM, so get down early before hand to watch the cricket, with the quiz following the proceedings at the Gabba.<\/p>\n
THURSDAY NIGHT BASHERS DRINKS:<\/p>\n
Drinks will start up officially the night of the quiz, but for any brave soul still looking at having an ale\/lager\/stout\/J\u00c3\u00a4gerbomb or 19, please venture down to the Big Bamboo THURSDAY nights. The following THU after the quiz, the 19th of Feb is the official kick off for this seasons drinks, so please let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all make an effort to get down there and support our valuable sponsors, the BIG BAMBOO.<\/p>\n
PLAYER SIGN ON 2009:<\/p>\n
This will be happening in the coming weeks when we have a better idea of this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s schedule. Now is the time to be thinking about who we can recruit into our ranks for \u00e2\u20ac\u212209. That said, bring any potential new signing down to the Quiz so we can see if they are worthy to wear the sacred Blue & White.<\/p>\n
CRICKET TOURS 2009:<\/p>\n
Every year the SCC organizes tours around the region, with the last tour being in HK and the next coming up in the Philippines. Anyone interested in taking part in these, please let me know and we can pass on all the info for you\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6<\/p>\n
