{"id":2371,"date":"2010-02-05T16:17:48","date_gmt":"2010-02-05T08:17:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/basherscc.org\/blog\/?p=2371"},"modified":"2010-02-05T16:29:03","modified_gmt":"2010-02-05T08:29:03","slug":"basher-cocktails-bada-bing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/basherscc.org\/blog\/basher-cocktails-bada-bing\/","title":{"rendered":"Basher Cocktails &#8211; Bada Bing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first in a new series of posts.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure how i stumbled across this during a Bangladesh collapse but i discovered this cocktail recipe named for our new sponsor and Basher #2.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bada Bing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 basil leaves, chiffonaded<\/li>\n<li>3 pitted Bing cherries<\/li>\n<li>1 oz Plymouth gin<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00bd oz simple syrup<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00bd oz maraschino liqueur<\/li>\n<li>\u00c2\u00bd lime juice<\/li>\n<li>3-4 oz champagne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Shake basil, cherries, gin, simple syrup, maraschino and lime juice with crushed ice. Pour into a highball glass and add more crushed ice, if needed. Top with champagne and stir. Garnish with two skewered cherries, if desired.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now i&#8217;m not sure if that sounds like our Tony at all and who knows what chiffonaded means. Maybe we can do better so the challenge is out there for the Bashers &amp; Geishas to GOTPSM and come up with cocktails for other <a href=\"http:\/\/basherscc.org\/blog\/bashers-alumni\/\">famous Bashers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll feature them here and perhaps the Geishas will organise an event later in the season where we can try them out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first in a new series of posts.
