The hardest part is\nsorting out sponsorship at the beginning of the year, after which you can sit\nback and bask in the respect and devotion that the position evokes from other\nBashers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer \u2013 Collect and hold our money, keep track of it,\nand pay for stuff with it. If you make sure we don\u2019t go broke and you don\u2019t\nlose or steal our cash, that\u2019s most of the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secretary \u2013 Take minutes at meetings and not much else to be\nhonest (although Tank basically ran the club from this position).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social Director \u2013 Organize a few social events. If you can\nkeep people involved in the club and not complaining too much you\u2019ve done most\nof the job, with fundraising a bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team Captains (Business, Pleasure, and Leisure) \u2013 Make sure\nwe have a full team at every game with a full kit and refreshments. Winning the\ntoss occasionally would be good. Tactical genius and accumulating silverware a\nbonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Club Captain \u2013 Oversee the captains and make sure they have\neverything they need to do their job. It\u2019s the position with the most work\nduring the season, but you can put yourself in the team for any game you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter whether you volunteer out of love for the\nclub, guilt at being a free-rider, passion for committee meetings and rules of\norder, dissatisfaction with the current regime, or pure thirst for power.
