Cricket Shanghai would once<br \/>\nagain like to thank Santa Fe Relocation Services for sponsoring the club\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s annual domestic 6\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s<br \/>\nextravaganza. This Sunday, August 23rd we invite all member clubs to participate in the annual<br \/>\nSanta Fe Sixes which has been one of the highlights on our annual calendar for a number of<br \/>\nyears now. We have just confirmed that we will be able to host this event at the brand SRFC<br \/>\ngrounds in WaiGaoQiao. This promises to be a blockbuster event and one of the rare occasions<br \/>\nwhere the majority of the Cricket Shanghai can get together at the same time.<br \/>\nPlease note that due to the fact that we can only play the Santa Fe Sixes over one day, we have<br \/>\nspace for 8 teams so will this invite goes out to all 5 member clubs, we will only be able to<br \/>\naccommodate 8 teams in the tournament format. Each of the 5 clubs are guaranteed one team<br \/>\neach but the other 3 teams will be offered on a first come first serve basis. To confirm whether<br \/>\nthey will be submitting 1 or 2 teams, could all club captains please contact:<br \/>\nMike Tsesmelis at operations@cricketshanghai.com<br \/>\nOnce all 8 participating teams are confirmed the official schedule will be released but for now we<br \/>\ncan confirm that the fun kicks off at 8:30am and the 2009 Champions will be crowned before<br \/>\nsunset.<br \/>\nTraditionally, this has been a family event and with the new venue now confirmed this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s<br \/>\nSanta Fe Sixes will not disappoint. So bring the family down to the new SRFC at Wai Gao Qiao for<br \/>\na day of great cricket, music, food and fun at the Santa Fe 6\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s. The caterers, tents, music and<br \/>\njumping castle will all be set-up early for a great day of family festivities. This event has always<br \/>\nbeen a highlight on the SCC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s social events calendar so let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all get to the ground to celebrate<br \/>\nanother successful year together before a well earned festive season break. Oh yes, and don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t<br \/>\nforget your hard hats as the ball will be flying around the park!!<\/p>\n<p>Santa Fe Sixes Raffle Prizes<br \/>\nA fund-raising raffle will be held at the ground with all proceeds going towards Santa Fe<br \/>\nRelocation Services\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 nominated charity, the Johns Hopkins Singapore Research Fund dedicated to<br \/>\nresearch and treatments for cancer. For each move that Santa Fe completes, Santa Fe donates<br \/>\nUS$ 10 to the fund and to date have already donated US$1,000,000. It would be great for SCC<br \/>\nmembers to also support this noble cause.
