In addition there will be a Womens T20 from 22nd to 25th featuring Pakistan, Japan, China and Singapore. Pakistan are sending the core of their team that played in the recent Womens World Cup.

Stars: Big problem. A lot of talk about Warne but nothing confirmed. Two nights ago I spoke to Javad Miandad who is now confirmed. He would love to face up against Lillie so any Aussies that have contacts there see what you can do. The current Coca-Cola  President is a South African so if any SA players can be identified I am sure we can sort out their costs. There was a suggestion about NZ players but I must admit I did not not know they had any.

Helped needed in the folowing areas:-

1) Couple of guys to look after each of the Womens teams.

2) Sixes Dinner. Churchills volunteerd today so well done to them.

3) Friday night party. Biggest bash yet organised is the one I did three years ago for the Scottish team. Need something special this year.   To me this sounds like a challenge for Loosey. Mother of all parties type thing. Japanese girls going crazy guaranteed.

4) Catering. We need to cater for 50 girls from 23rd to 25th. Preference is for Indian food. Caterer can obviously sell to everyone else  as well. Any ideas about someone that could do a deal  for the girls would be appreciated. Need a tent for sit down meal for girls.

5) Sponsorship. Thusfar only Scott Brown and I have raised any money from sponsors (maybe this should be the Bashers Intl Sixes???)  but we need at least one more decent sponsor. Contact SCC el Presidente de Gravitus for the sponsorship package.

6) Wine, Beer and Spirits. Needs deals /ideas on all three. I recall Circus offered some wine at RMB 36 per bottle. Could Just Beer do something at the ground? Ideas welcome. Sheyan may be too young to recall Diageo’s J&B bus for the Scottish team three years ago and the whisky and green tea party but something of that order again would be great.

7) China Mens Team. they will be playing at the Sixes this year. Would Bashers like to host them the day before for an 11 aside game and be the first club in China to play against the national team? Based on Japan trip the Bashers have more players of “international pedigree” than any other team.

Finally the Group of Death. Rest assured part of the sponsorship deal I agreed this year is a new concept of the Group of Death featuring the Hot Dogs. All goes according to plan they will be eliminated by Friday afternoon.

So any ideas or offers for assistance be gratefully appreciated. Obviously the Sixes is being run by Gravity but he could do with a bit of Bashers initiative and time is running short.

Thanks in advance

As usual things are a bit last minute and screwed up so it’s about time to call in the troops to help sort things out.
