Don&#8217;t remember how it came about exactly but each of the 12 have been tasked with writing a haiku to sum up a day when all but one Basher had their worst performance of the season on the same day.<\/p>\n<p>Normally one would leave the result to the end to maintain the suspense but in this case it&#8217;s hardly worth mentioning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bashers all out 50.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Leopards 52\/1.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rubbish we all were<\/p>\n<p>Soundly beaten the result<\/p>\n<p>&#8217;til beers on the bus!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Shitshoes<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bashers were brave and true<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But skills lacked and runs did too<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">At least we can drink<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Squirrel (the artist formerly known as Post Op)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The wheels on the bus<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Go beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Also some cricket<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Birdshit<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a team lumberjack.
