For those Bashers and Geishas keen to expand their sporting adventure there a couple of options available coming up in early September. Both indoor cricket and indoor netball have leagues starting in the first week of September and I’m keen to play with my Bashers brethren.<\/p>\n

\nSqueaky, Sharapova and I played last season and we are keen to play again if we can put together a Bashers side. It’s a mixed league with one game every Monday night (4 x 10min qrtrs). We’d enter Division B. It’s 7a-side but we’d probably need 10+ people to cover unavailability. Please let me know if you (or your Geisha) are keen to try it out. There wil be a free open day on August 26th<\/a> where we can try out the sport.<\/p>\n
\nThe 6-a-side Wednesday Indoor Season starts Sept 4th. Korean, Post-Op, Poppy and myself are keen to play. Once again we’d need 10+ to cover unavailability and no one is expected to play every game. Matches are 715pm and 815pm each Wednesday. Let me know if you are keen even if it’s just the odd match.<\/p>\n
\nWe had two teams last season but I think the committee is leaning towards just one covered by the club. Details on this to be confirmed by the Bashers Committee. Season starts Nov. 3rd.<\/p>\n
