Not only will we be the only club with our own blazers for the 6s dinner, but we will also have our very own club tie (thanks to Hammer and a few others – you know who you are). In the club colours of gold with a repeated Blue Bashers crest.

To make an impression at the dinner, we would like to suggest that we all try and stick to a club uniform of:

1. Bashers Blazer (for those that have them)

2. Bashers Tie (will post a picture later, but in the words of Chewie ‘they’re boss like’)

3. White shirt (yes with collars & sleeves, Loosey)

4. Blue jeans

Ties will be available on Saturday afternoon when (we hope) Danny Morrison will present them to all available Bashers. All at the bobby bargain price of RMB50. If you can’t make the 6s on Saturday, but want us to bring you a tie to the evening, let us know here.

You need to deal directly with the official Bashers tailor Xiao Yu. 

She still has a handful of embroidered pockets and a limited amount of the blue material left – so get in while it lasts.

The cost at this stage is still 650RMB

Be sure to give her your Bashers Cap number in Roman Numerals so it can be embroidered on the pocket.

The following steps need to be taken by individuals who would like to get one of these;

STEP 1: Get felt up.

The following have already taken this step;

Anyone wanting to join this list for the first production run has two options;

a) Get to Xiao Yu the Basher’s Tailor at Chang Hong Emporium, 940 Tian Shan Lu (near to Zun Yi Lu intersection THIS WEEK and mention you are with “BanQiu” and she will know what to do. Any communication issues while there call John 13661661086. Don’t forget to write your name and (IMPORTANT) your basher number in ROMAN NUMERALS on her sheet so she knows which number to engrave on your blazer. Please note that there is more than one establishment at 940 Tian Shan Lu. You’re looking for the large fabric shop, you’ll find Xiao Yu at her desk in the back corner.

b) if you’re too lazy to do that – write your name in the comments below and nominate a like-figured basher from the list above and she’ll use that persons measurements for you.

STEP 2: Cough Up:

These are not free but looks like the reasonable cost of 700RMB is going to be the price. We’ll need a deposit of 350RMB THIS WEEK so start counting out that jar of jiao. For those on the list above we need a commitment that you are still wanting to go ahead with this.

STEP 4: Flaunt It

Assuming you’re all paid up and no major issues are encountered by about September 13 you’ll have a great new robe to wear around the house. The first big formal outing for the Blazers will be at the SICS Dinner. We will look hot!
