Farewell Leisure

After playing 19 matches with the best and most fun Bashers team in the SCC leagues over the last 3 years, scoring nearly 300 runs at a pedestrian pace, taking 3 of the luckiest wickets as a slow-medium pacer imaginable, and somehow winning the championship in 2012, the party is now to be postponed. The wise heads in the Bashers selection panel have decided that I should no longer be eligible to play in the Leisure. Instead I’ve been locked into a D2 Tour of Duty to help the club through a difficult time.

Unfortunately this means I won’t be there to video the last bash of Pusher – a Bashers Leisure legend – but I will make it to the Camel to celebrate post-match.

At least there’ll always be next season,
