Bashers Training: Thursday 6pm to 8pm, 123 Yan Ping Lu, at San He Hua Yuan (tennis courts). Just up the road from Xinzha Road and across from One Wellness.

First training of the season so let’s get everybody down there. I appreciate some you poor fools have real jobs that may keep you a little late. However better late than never as the four captains need to have a look at what they are working with this season.

As always kit will be provided by the club so just bring yourselves. Practice will be followed by our first official Thursday at The Camel (TBC) for debrief and a brew.

5 rmb fines for bowler & batsmen per ball hit out of the courts. This money will be collected to pay the repairs for when Sir Dick breaks a car window later in the season.

Bashers!!!!

Training will be starting next week Thursday. Our Club Captain will fill us in on the details later on.

Please ensure that all of you from now on to keep Thursday nights free for practice and following that the weekly Bashers evening at The Camel Bar.

Its now time to start start loosing the holiday weight we so eagerly gained over the last few months and get ourselves back into the well oiled machine that is The Bashers Cricket Club.

This Sunday sees the clash of the League 1 giants vs the New Boys from Yiwu…
Yes, the unthinkable has occured… The Hot Dogs are propping up the League, and the Mighty Mighty Bashers are in the final.
The game is taking place at the SRFC on Sunday – time to be confirmed in the next 24 hours or so.
The opposition are K2.
The stakes couldn’t be higher… 12 months of officially being the best club in Shanghai – both off the field (undeniable) and on it.

This is a reminder that there will be training on Thursday which will give players extra practice time.
In all honesty there is unlikely to be major changes from last week’s heroic XII but all are welcome and indeed encouraged to come to SanHeHuaYuan on Thursday from 6pm till 8pm.

This will be the last nets session of the season so would be great to get a turn out, and a mass descent on the Big Bamboo.

Thursday evening from 6pm till 8pm will hopefully see a good load of Bashers heading to SanHeHuaYuan for the weekly nets session.
Hopefully we can get a good crowd down and then head over to the Bamboo for a couple of refreshing ales after.

After last weeks debacle… we are slightly more organized this week…

Our highly esteemed Social Director, and general Man of Looseness, Mr. Dean Lapthorne, will be heading to the court today to book.

With the Pleasure Boys looking for 3 from 3, and the 6s looming – it will be a good opportunity to get ‘amongst it’.

With many of us returning from various parts of the world, I thought itwould be a good idea to get together for nets tomorrow.

Same time, same place.

If there isnt enough interest, then we will reluctantly call it off…

Obviously there will be drinks in the Bamboo after  where the Aussies will be able to gloat further as to their cricketing prowess and Cranky and Tank will be able to play with the iPhones

Following our zero from two yesterday, we need to blow away all our cobwebs.
There is another double header this weekend, with Pleasure on Saturday and Business on Sunday.
Please make it down to training on Thursday – same time, same place.
SanHeHuaYuan from 6-8pm followed by the Bamboo for drinks.

Due to inclement weather, training is again canceled. Strategy sessions at Big Bamboo to commence at six.
