Thursday Drinks on as normal

Although we are done with the league there is a lot of banter to be had over a few drinks.

Come to the Camel tonight to talk about the usual kind of nonsense such as;

Who is running for the committee next year?
What will your fancy dress outfit be for xiamen Halloween party?
Will Sinbad make it through the night in xiamen only fuelled by vodka Lime and Sodas?
Is Pushers 8 year old son more literate than the majority of the team?
Is Filthy really as bad at cricket as he appeared to be during the game on Monday?
Does Latex look better with his shirt off?

Big topics that can only be decided after 10 pints at the Camel.

National Holiday BBQ and knock about

This one is for all of us not lucky enough to be heading off to the beach for there holidays.

On Monday 3rd October we have a pitch booked out at SRFC from Lunchtime onwards. The bar will be open and the BBQ fired up.

The idea is to leave the Camel around 11:15. And have some lunch at the SRFC then Have a 20/20 or 30 over game.

I have opened this up to the other teams so we should have the numbers.

Please post below if you are up for it and in town.

Roots and Shoots Gala Dinner

Its time to don your blazers and represent the Bashers at a great events hosted by our amazing charity partners Roots and Shoots.

For those of you who are new to the club please take 5 minutes out and visit their site here to see the great things they are doing here in Shanghai and all over China.

Gala Dinner

On October 21st, Friday from 7pm till late, the greater Shanghai Marriott group is hosting a charity gala dinner benefiting Shanghai Roots & Shoots Million Tree Project at the newly-opened Marriott City Centre Hotel.

The Bashers have a table booked and there are 6 spots still open on that. It would be great to get enough people signed up to need a second table so get involved. This is one of the best Gala evenings in Shanghai. So don’t miss out!

Please put you name below with the word Gala next to it if you want to take a ticket and I will get in contact to confirm.

Please lets really make an effort for these 2 events, Tori and the team at Roots and Shoots do so much good work the Bashers need to show there support.

Thursday Training

Last training of the regular season. 123 Yanping Road, San He Hua Yuan, Thursday 6pm to 8pm.
All three teams playing this Sunday so should be a good turnout (or at the very least more than the 5 than come last week!)

Season finale weekend – Pub crawl!

With all 3 teams heading into the final weekend of the Bashers season next week we need to go out with a bit of a bang and that doesn’t mean a trip to Manhattans (well maybe).

BASHERS PUB CRAWL

The long awaited Bashers pub crawl will stumble into action on the evening of Friday 23rd.

Meeting at The Camel between 7-8pm we will take in some of the finer establishments around the area. The route is a mystery, but trust me it will be varied and include a couple of inter team challenges along the way. Get to the Camel, get some food in, throw up later and get wasted!

Would really be great to see all 3 teams out getting involved with this one, so commit below.
