Calling all clever bastards. Everybody wake up!
Our own patron Danny Morrison has been contracted to lend his expertise and vocals to commentate in the upcoming IPL. He needs our help with some original chirps to pull out for those spectacular plays. Hardly anyone could sound more Basher-like than D-Man already does but come on ya pissheads, get amongst it, ya mongrels, herein lies the challenge to the Bashers, lets get on the underwood and come up with some gems for our little over-achieving friend. Submit away below. If your line gets used by the big little guy Loosey will buy a round.

Obama crashed our party! Bamboo closed go Plan B

Most of you are probably hearing the rumors , so let me clarify the situation.

Due to Barrack Obama staying at the Portman this Sunday , it seems the police want to shut down all drinking establishments and some roads , Tongren being one of them.

Officially the Bamboo has been asked to close so we will now go with our plan B

6.50 am Sunday , bus drives to Bamboo as planned .

If Tongren Rd. is blocked then we park bus on corner of Beijing and Xikang rd , lug our gear around the corner and get on it for the ground.

For supporters there will be NO Breakfast ! The bus will pick up at 9am from the ashen remains of Masala Art on Dagu Rd . Plenty of coffee shops there for all the supporters and Geishas to get a morning bite into them .

Post game the bus will take all us happy winners out the Big Bamboo at Hongmei Rd where general mayhem will ensure .

No matter what, its going to be a great day !!

Burning Down The Shed

Just when you thought you’d heard the last of us, just when you thought it was safe to let the kids back on the internet…
Here is the long longed for episode twelve. Some have suggested it should be the “lost episode”. We bid the Shed one final hurrah in devastating fashion. Usual ramblings in “Around the wicket”. It’s somebody’s birthday! “Drinks break” is chokka full of up-and-comings and there’s not enough time to finish the “Nightwatchman”. The “Third umpire” includes a bunch of lumberjack action including some rural Nanjing reports. Circus is our guest Basher this week, the less said about that the better. And a bunch of other stuff too.

Rested, the team returns to the Jaguar Club for Pasta, Chick Peas, Italian Sausage & Lemon Chicken.

Of course there’s plenty of Jibber-Jabber on cricket and quite a measure of controversy.

Special guest on “Steaming in From the Members End” is ex-Queensland player and Scotland coach, currently in Rotterdam with the Dutch National Side, Peter Drinnen.

The usual rif-raf are there, along with Hillsy, Woodstock and of course the Jaguar and his Mexican mafioso crew all with plenty of dodgy innuendo.
