    Lumberjack – Pleasure vs. Leopards, April 29th

    Bashers Pleasure had their third win of the season in a low-scoring match against the previously unbeaten Leopards.

    The morning was dreary and drizzly when the team assembled at the Camel. The captain was a notable absentee, calling to put Swoop in charge as he was running late. Importantly though, there was an abundance of pies and sausage rolls.

    At the ground, Swoop performed his VC duties well by winning the toss and inserting the Leopards. The Bashers took the field and waited as Korean made his way onto the ground in the nick of time. Not that the game could have got underway without him, as he had the match balls in his bag.

    Nanjing 6′s Camel Bashers Lumberjack Day 1

    This just covers day 1 for the Camel bashers, day 2 is being made up by Swahilli because no of us have any idea what happened apart from something to do with a glitter ball (not to be confused with Gary glitters balls) (more…)

    Report: Leisure vs. Hot Dogs 20th June 2010

    The leisure team convened under pleasantly overcast skies at 7.30 am on Sunday morning. We were without two leisure stalwarts, our regular leader Loose and the ubiquitous Gary Glitter, as well as late withdrawal Swoop. The ladies of the morning that usually entertain us while we wait for the bus were also conspicuous by their absence, but this may be mere coincidence. Whatever the reasons, we steeled ourselves to fight on a man short. (more…)
