Important info for the SCC 6′s weekend

 

Here are some details that you all need to know for the coming weekend.

Friday

SCC and The Camel Charity dinner in aid of Roots and Shoots

Our Charity at our bar, we need to have a strong showing from the Bashers at this event. Its 100rmb entry for a great buffet and an open bar for 2 hours (with honesty donation box). There is also a raffle, quiz and auction with great prizes.

Doors open at 19:45.

 

Saturday Corp 6′s Challenge

There are a good number of Bashers taking part in the Saturday comp so please come out and support your fellow team mates. Buses will be leaving the Camel at 07:30 please try and make it for then if you are playing or supporting. If you are going direct to the ground please advise below.

Saturday Dinner @ SRFC

All players on the Sunday are invited to the Saturday dinner at the SRFC. This will kick off around 18:00. there will be a great buffet and a couple of kegs on the go. Again another fantastic auction with the Bashers own Loose Unit as guest auctioneer, this is going to be fun! Also the Bashers in house band Studio 188 will be keeping everything rocking along.

 

Sunday League 6′s Challenge

Buses will again be leaving from the Camel at 07:30. Please all treat this as a normal game day and arrive in good time to make the buses. Please confirm below if you will be going direct to the ground.

We have 3 great teams and looking at the draw we will be avoiding each other in the groups so be prepared for some big matches in the semis.

A lot of the team behind this weekend are Bashers and have put in many hours of hard work to make this happen. Lets get behind this weekend and show everyone why the Bashers are the best team in Shanghai.

All the details for the weekend will be confirmed shortly but there will be buses leaving from the Camel at 07:30 on Sunday morning to get us out to the ground in time for the 9:00 start.

The Official program has been released and is available for download from Shanghai cricket website.

There is also a welcome party at the Camel on the Friday night and entertainment and action at the SRFC all day Saturday for the corporate 6′s challenge.

Please confirm below that you are in and will be at the Camel on Sunday morning.

Also if for some reason I have missed your name of the playing list let me know and we can re shuffle the teams.

Pleasure and Leisure Teams for Sunday 20th

Availability for Pleasure and Leisure games Sunday 20th May

Coming up this weekend the Pleasure and Leisure are back in action. The Pleasure are up against the Digital Devils and the Leisure are facing off against the Hot Dogs who are also unbeaten in Div3, this will be a big one.

Pleasure are at SRFC starting at 13:30 and the Leisure are at Dulwhich starting at 09:00

Training – 17th May

With mixed results this past weekend we need to get back to training and focus on the Pleasure and Leisure games on the 20th.

Training starts at 6pm as usual at 123 Yangping road.

Drinks at the Camel afterwards.

2012 Nanjing 6′S – Living the Rural Dream!

The date is set, the disco ball has been dusted off and its time for the Bashers to board the train to Nanjing!

Put Saturday June 9th in the diary. The Bashers will be putting in 2 teams as usual.

The plan is to head down to Nanjing on Friday 8th after work to acclimatise to our rural surroundings and enjoy the warm and hazy hospitality of Jimmys. The action starts early on the Saturday morning with a great line up of 6′s talent. Our friends from the Pudong Power and the Xiamen Typhoons will be joining us along with the Bogans and Nongmin to round out what will be a great day.

There will be the option to head back on the saturday evening if you are involved in the SCC game on the Sunday but otherwise we will be enjoying the Saturday night in Nanjing and heading back to Shanghai early afternoon on the Sunday.

This is a great event and was enjoyed by all last year.

The hotel will be around 600rmb a night for a twin room. Please bring along friends and family but let me know so we can organise the train and hotel.
