Bashers Business Top the league after the first round.

The Bashers Business have taken the first round honors after a commanding batting display saw them easy winners over Pu Dong Power on Sunday’s final round-one clash.

2011 Division One

A 7am meeting time was greeted with an impressive level of compliance with the expected exception of Sir Dick at 2mins and 30 seconds past the buzzer and Sin Bad who as it turned out was on an entirely different Time Zone. There was a positive mood in the camel as the Business and Pleasure teams assembled. A fragrance of optimism hung in the air which barely managed to overpower the odor of the Camel’s previous evening festivities.

Marathon Fundraiser: Donate Now

A big well done to Sinbad who miraculously  managed to loose 4kg between weigh-ins. Although I think the absence of the earnings and bling necklace had something to do with it.

So far the Marathon participants  have donated hours of time on the streets of Shanghai over the past few months.

Last night their financial pledges took the total raised to RMB 5,000.

So far donations have been pledged to each runner finishing the race.

Shanghai Marathon: send off and Fundraiser

This Thursday from 7pm at the Camel we are handing out the race packs for the Shanghai Marathon. We will also do the pre race weigh-in. From their after will be encouraging wagers and sponsorship to support our race charity – The Geoff Howe fund.

Dear Bashers,

By now you should be getting pretty fired up about the Bashers Another Gay Meeting and prize-giving extravaganza.

Rest assured the venue is being finalized as we speak. The key ingredients are all in place – BEER, WINE and Birdshit’s bells and whistles. (including that playlist with only 5 songs recorded after 1982)

The food will be top notch and the company obviously outstanding.

Please double confirm again below if you are are in or out. We would like to extend this invite to the Bashers family at large so if you have friends of the Bashers be sure to rope them in. I would like to think we can push 70pax again and we need your help to do it.

Bashers Expo countdown

Many thanks to those that have put there hand up to get amongst the festivities on Saturday.

Tickets are availalbe now if you have not got them already please make contact with Ollie.

You must pick these up before Saturday.  feel free to attend the Expo site during the day.

Rendevous at the Coke Pavilion at 3:45. please don’t be late! It’s amongst the corporate pavilions on the corporate side (puxi) in Zone D.

The Expo is an international event. We will be dressing in theme. please come dressed in a get-up relevant to your country of choice.  The best dressed will drink for free.  I will be sporting my new drinking outfit accquired at Oktober fest where I have been in training.  I hope you can keep up.

Bashers Expo Pub Crawl

Dear Bashers,

Your response to this has been less than shit. stop acting like a bunch of poofs and sign-up.  I am not going to hand hold and call you all to ask if you are in.  If your name is not on the blog then we will find other people to take your place. This is a Bashers event and as a Basher you should get your arse into gear and look forward to a good night out with your mates. plenty of warning this time, and i’ll be personal pretty pissed at you if you are not signed up in the next few days.

Expo tickets will be issued prior, so people can spend the day at the Expo. Rendezvous point will be at the Coca-Cola Pavilion circa 4 p.m, where we are being graciously hosted by the Pusher in the Coke VIP. then onwards and upwards. family fun during the day. then big kids at night will play. excellent

Start at the Camel at 7pm. Then unwind as Filthy’s magical  filthy mystery bus tour unwinds through the streets of Puxi.
