    Hong Kong Cricket Club confirmed to play SCC at SRFC on weekend of 19-21 August, 2011.

    The SCC Dragons will play the 50 overs Bokhara Bell Match at 10.30 on Saturday (near ground), and on Sunday the SCC Pirates will play a 20/20 at 10.00am.

    The Bokhara Bell is currently held by HKCC and we’d love to win it back. If anyone is interested in being available for selection for either or both of the Shanghai representative sides please express your interest below. Be specific about which games you are available for.

    In addition your attendance at tour functions and games would be most welcome regardless of whether you’re playing or not. We want to generate a real team spirit around the SCC rep teams as they represent everyone one of us who play cricket in Shanghai.

  3. Bangkok Int Cricket Sixes

    This years Chaophya Park Hotel Thailand (Bangkok) International Cricket Sixes Tournament 2011 will be held at the “Harrow International School” in Bangkok, from Friday the 21st of October until Sunday the 23rd of October 2011.

    The Chaophya Park Hotel in Bangkok is the Title Sponsor & the Official Hotel Partner for the event in 2011. The Official Room Rates this year for teams and everyone involved with the tournament are:
    # Room Rates are 2,200 Baht Single & 2,400 Baht Twin/Double, which includes breakfasts.

    Team fee’s have been set for up to 8 players per team at 25,000 Thai Baht. This includes the Tournament Functions, Transport to and from the ground each day from the Chaophya Park Hotel, a tournament Shirt, Cap and Souvenir Program, the actual tournament costs, Event Trophies and more.

    If we cannot arrange a full team still consider going, and you can be matched up with a team for the event.

  4. HK Int Cricket Sixes

    Hong Kong International Cricket Festival 2011 – Cricket Sixes Tournament will be held at the “Kai Tak Cricket Ground” in Hong Kong from Friday the 25th of November until Sunday the 27th of November 2011.

    The Eaton Hotel in Kowloon is the Official Hotel Partner for the Hong Kong Festival this year. The room rates for this year for teams and those involved with the tournament are:
    # Room rates are at HKD1000 (Single) and HKD1100 (Double) plus 10% which includes breakfast per room.
    Information on booking details will follow once your place in the tournament has been confirmed.

    Team Fee’s have been set for up to 8 players per team at $7,000 HKD. This includes the Tournament Functions, Transport to and from the ground each day from the Eaton Hotel, a tournament Shirt, Cap and Souvenir Program, the actual tournament costs, Event Trophies and more.

  8. Business Lumberjack: July 24th

    The Business headed out to Dulwich College late Sunday morning facing a must-win game against the cellar-dwelling Power.

    Things started ominously with Cranky’s driver going AWOL resulting in a close race for last person to the ground between himself and Leppa.

    It got worse for the Business when stand in tosser Stats lost the toss whilst Capt. Filthy was finishing his umpiring gig. Bashers to field first in sauna like conditions. Strong eleven named including The Dog prowling the edge of the boundary hoping to see some action as 12th man. (more…)
