Bashers Bowling League

Guys, Gals and Deano(aka Gaylord),

We will be setting up a Bashers Bowling league in the comming days. So far the idea seems to have interest so we are now  looking for players from all genders, Deano included. This is a great way to get together and socialize with a little excercise for all those associated with the club who dont enjoy sitting at a bar……..

We can make this bimonthly event or weekly depending on the responses and willingness. The bowling alley is in Hengshan road so easily accesable to all, There is a Pizza restaurant next door (have confirmed already allowed to bring in pizza) drinks are cheap and atmosphere great.  So if your interested in having fun for all, let me know.

Each teams consists of 4, so perfect for 2 couples or 3 + Deano…..

so get cranking and get your confirmations in.

ALL GAMES POSTPONED TILL NEXT WEEKEND

Bashers!!!!

All games are cancelled this weekend due to Dulwich resurfacing their pitch. That means that now all the games have been postponed to next week.

League match – Saturday 30th August – 1PM start (perfect as that means hangover on following day is not Monday) Meet at Bamboo at 11am.

20/20 match – Sunday 31st August – 9:30am start. Meet at Bamboo at 8am

BASHERS CLUB DAY

BASHERS!!!

All Bashers are expected to be available for Saturday the 19th Inter Bashers Competition.

 It will be a fun day where i am sure our ever supportive sponsors will rally around to help make it memorable.

Players Bus will leave Big Bamboo at 9am for the first match between the league boys and the 20-twenty lads. The bus will return for the ladies at 11. The second Game will be a traditional Emancipated XI v Under the Thumb XI fixture.

Cmon Bashers!!! we have not had many games this year and this is a great chance for a little club comradery, also for you to get your monies worth.

So please respond ASAP!!!

TONIGHT IS PRACTICE!!!! USUAL PLACE AND TIME. LAST WEEK WE HAD A GOOD TURN OUT WITH 8 PLAYERS POPING DOWN. LETS TRY SEE IF WE CAN BEAT THAT. ITS A NICE DAY OUTSIDE.

SO COME DOWN AND FLEX YOUR MUSCLES AND THEN HEAD DOWN AFTER A GOOD SWEAT FOR A BEER AND A FEED AT BAMBOO.

Great evening last night, well done to those winning the comp. MAny tks to all of those who participated in our fund raiser and most importantly a very big thank you to Neal “Bird Shit” Watkins for his marvelous job as quizz master. Also another big thank to all those who made yesterday Big Day out possible.

Last but not least another BIG THANK YOU to our Sponsors, for without them this day would not have worked.

Now Onto serious Matters!!!!

Practice tonight , usual time / usual place. Venue for boozing to decide at the moment but probably “Time Passage”

WE have a league game this weekend against the Hot Dogs so all those wanting to play thise weekend need to be at practice tonight (usua terms).

BASHERS INTER CLUB 35 OVER DAY

We have a unique opportunity to have a BASHERS ONLY DAY on Saturday the 19th of July 2008 at Dulwhich from 9am till 3pm. We can have a 35 overs compatition and then head over to Bamboo in Pudong for a good time.

Bashers Thursday Practice 12th June

Rumour Control again, here are the facts!!

There is practice tonight for all those wishing to participate. Usual Place at usual time.

The 20/20 are playing this week end so all those wanting to get a warm up , all are welcome.

Drinks after the practice will be again at the Big Bamboo as I am told that the majority of the players last week did not get the half price deal agreed. So therefore please remeber to remind your waitress when ordering.

Please, if you can try get out to support the 20/20 boys this Sunday 15th, its guarenteed to be a good day.
