Dear Gents
Please see the line up for the Lesiure this Sunday.
BUS LEAVES THE CAMEL NO LATER THAN 8.00AM. Confirm below that you will be there. If you’re late, you’re walking!
OK. Coming off a 10 wicket victory, let smash the Devils and claim top spot in Div 3! See you boys on Sunday!

Gentlemen of the Leisure
Fresh off the Kakadu BBQ where a plot was laid to resurrect the Bashers season, here are the chosen few [as of 9.45AM Fri] for the Bashers Div 3 to go into battle against Dulwich White Knights this Sunday morning.
If I have left you out, that doesn’t mean anything more than I’ve probably forgotten as I’ve a bad memory. All are welcome. IF we get more than 11, we can provide umpires, scores, and general clowning around. We will also rotate the fielders if we have more than 11.
OK guys. Bus leaves the Camel at 9AM SHARP. My number is 13916624795. Let me know below if you are in on the bus or not.
Ciao & Kisses.

Bus departs at 1:15ish for Dulwich. Let us know if you’ll go straight to the ground.
Here’s the lineup.
Fellow Bashers
Have had word from the SCC that we are up again this w’end for a game against the Devils: 2.15PM @ Dulwich. Bus times to follow later in the week.
This is great news as we are getting a really strong run early in the season when the weather is ripe.
Hands up below for the action. As the batting has been woeful, the more Leisure squad we get to training this Thursday night the better. Lets see if we can get one under the belt against these buggers.
Stay Loose & See you at the bar.

With the firecrackers still ringing in our ears from the opening of EXPO, the Bashers finest assembled for their 8AM MAY DAY bus at The Camel. Pity there was no bus, but we had beers & pies & new baggy blue Bashers caps, so we legged it via taxi’s to Dulwich. First thing we noticed at the ground was how beautiful the weather was, probably better suited to drinking than running around after a red leather ball. JC was as usual late, so we offered him as a Bashers sacrifice to the under manned Hot Dogs, who didn’t even say thanks! (more…)
Team line up for the match is thus:
Still spot open to any Basher who wants a hit! The triple header + Long Weekend has made things tough on us this weeks, but alas, we’ll be OK!
Bus @ 8AM at Camel. Game on at 9. Drinking from 8.01 AM.
Ciao
Loose.
First game of the season and it was a miracle that 12 guys arrived, seemingly coherently, at The Camel @ 7:45 on a Sunday morning. Anticipation was high for the season opener, as high as the gentlemen who was exposing himself opposite our meeting point, and then proceeding to fight a bouncer at The Dragon Club [no, surprisingly it wasn't Circus]. Things started to go sideways very quickly as the bus driver proceeded to get us lost on the way to the ground, leaving us a 2 min window to warm up [with another beer] and, as it turned out, lose the toss and get sent into bat.
