Lumberjack – Leisure V Daredevils, 24th May 2015

Triple Header 2.2 - The Bloody Basher Blitzkrieg How do you begin to write your first lumberjack for the 2nd Triple Header weekend and not only that, one that follows the rambunctious evening of the night before? Oh, like that I guess. I must warn you this is a long one. Are you sitting comfortably? Then let us begin. As a precursor, if any of the information contained below is mistaken, misleading, exaggerated or just damn right lies, well get stuffed, you can write it next time!

Teams for the Weekend’s Triple Header

Well done to the Club for getting 35 Bashers available this weekend – it was looking unlikely on Thursday morning! We have 3 good sides lining up, plus plenty of debutants too, and we even have the new playing shirts for this season. It’s beautiful weather at the moment, so let’s get out there and play some cricket!

Business vs K2, 10 May 2015

Business vs K2 Lumberjack The Business were in action vs K2 on Sunday, attempting to gather and reform what was left of their rectums after the unforgettable, un-consensual 389ing they received 2 weeks prior. Whites donned, rape whistles in-hand; the Business had a few changes in personnel (victims of 389 update: some still in rehab, others developed agoraphobia, one man found shivering in bed only able to mutter “Jonti”), and things were looking positive after captain Paps won the toss!

Leisure Lumberjack, 10 May

Leisure vs Daredevils Well what can be said about the Leisure’s performance on Sunday, that hasn’t been said already? About 500 words apparently.

SCC Pirates vs China Girls Lumberjack, 3 May

The Pirates is the more "social" representative team of the Shanghai Cricket Club, made up of a mixture from all the member clubs. The match was hastily arranged mid-week, and so the team was made up of Bashers, Hot Dogs and Pudong players, mostly from D2 and D3.
