Business v Hots Dogs Lumberjack July 14th

The Business were hoping to get back in the saddle after consecutive loses had brought them pack to the chasing back in the Division 1 standings. Another hot and sunny day greeted the boys although this week had the added luxury of a strong wind to keep the humidity away.

DELAYED Business vs K2 Leopards July 7th Lumberjack

Due to unforeseen circumstances this lumberjack is a week late. July 7th saw the table topping Business meet with the cellardwellers in the K2 Leapards on the SRFC Far ground. Pigu was making his Business debut in his last game before an elongated summer break. He was to be joined on hiatus by Fruitbox after this match. The remaining Business boys were in for the long haul with this match being the first of 5 on the trot in the oppressive Shanghai summer heat. It was with this heat in mind that skipper Filthy tossed with the intention of sitting back and watching the top order pile on the runs. He lost and the Business were in the field.

A story of the Beijing Sixes

This week we have a guest lumberjack. I'm not sure if the bashers blog has hosted a lumberjack from another team before but on this occasion the lines between the Bashers and Pudong Power became sufficiently blurred along with a few other things to allow this to happen.

There is still a little bit of fine tuning to go (Leisure players encouraged to head to SRFC to bolster the teams in the afternoon), but as it stands at the moment:

Sinbad's leaving on a pirate ship...err, jet plane. Let's all get together for yet another farewell party (read: roast) to send Sinbad off in his signature style: silly t-shirts, sparkly earrings & puppy wet noses.  Please join us tonight at the Bund Beach; link to venue info below.  Tomorrow he'll be setting sail on his pirate ship, currently docked on the Huangpu for the cheeseburger-be-damned, chicken nugget motherland that is Bollywood.  So let's make sure he gets sh!t face wasted & ends up at Hollyood after a few games of beach volleyball, beers & beef lovers BBQ.  I'm sure we can expect a top notch performance from our favorite drunk dialer & expect a few texts around 4am.  Cheers to you, Sinbad.
