    New Bar Name (Poll)

    Dear Bashers,

    You were all given an opportunity to voice your opinions and idea’s for a name  of the back bar that our title sponsor “The Camel Bar” have been so kind to grant us.

    After quite some time and a week of having the chance to lock them in , it is now time once again to exercise your right and vote on the name you like best.

    All registered members are allowed to vote on the names they prefer out of the list submitted  for the name of the bar. The top 5 names voted on will then be submitted The Camel Bar for them to choose a name that they believe best suits not only the Bashers but cricket in Shanghai and last but not least their establishment.

    You may vote for as many or as few choices as you like i.e. more than one choice.

    The voting will be closed on Friday 12th of February 6pm. After that no more votes will be accepted.

      This is why I believe in totalitarian rule. Oh dear this could get messy…

      And this is just the first round of voting.
      After this the option with the fewest votes will be discounted and votes will be cast again with the remaining 47 options, then 46 and so on until we are left with just five.
      Then submissions will be called for and an extraordinary general meeting will be held where presentations will be made (limited to one hour) and bribes will be made. Then the Sultans of the Camel Bar will retire for a week to a retreat in Zhejiang to make their final decision.
      Next month we’ll pick a new name.

      Had a backward of square tour last night of the Camel. Very impressive. Cant wait to wreck it on opening night…

      Whatever it is called it’s gonna be a cool new home. Went for a bit of a sneak inspection today and it’s coming along nice nice. They’re particularly proud of the gent’s room – otherwise known as the Swordfight bar – you’ll see why soon…
