Nanjing 6′s March 20-21

Locked and loaded fellas.

Nanjing 6′s 2010 will be held over Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of March. In true Bashers style we will be expected to more than make up the numbers. What I need from you is firm confirmations on your availability so we can let Nanjing know what to expect.

If you want to go you go! If you want to play you play! If you want to get loose you do so! There will be no squad selection process here. I recommend anyone who didn’t got last year goes. I know that all those who went last year will be going again!!

Costs look about the same as last year. Bus up there on the Fri. night. Two nights in a hotel. 6′s dinner and boozing. If the bus doesn’t suit you can make your own way up on the Sat. but you’ll miss the road trip.

CRICKET SEASON TRAINING

Training will be starting next week Thursday. Our Club Captain will fill us in on the details later on.

Please ensure that all of you from now on to keep Thursday nights free for practice and following that the weekly Bashers evening at The Camel Bar.

Its now time to start start loosing the holiday weight we so eagerly gained over the last few months and get ourselves back into the well oiled machine that is The Bashers Cricket Club.

CAMEL SOFT OPENING

The Camel Bar will be having their soft opening Friday night. All members are welcome to join (encouraged) to help the bar through its teething stage and help them Iron out any kinks.

I am sure that the management will look forward to any comments made to help better improve their establishment etc etc..

So make sure you get yourself down to The Camel Bar on Friday night , its for a good cause..

Strain Through polyester strides and add several olives

Infuse with more gas in your soda-stream machine

Spring Cleaning

With the new season approaching (more on this from the committee later) and tiger year upon us it’s time to get our records straight.

Many of you have already been lurking about the site this year but some of you are hibernating for the winter. Please take a the few simple steps below to help us stay in touch and make sure you don’t miss anything you should in what will be the Basher’s biggest and bestest year yet.

First of all make sure your details are all up to date;

Your Profile.

You will be directed to log in if you haven’t already. ensure that the email address there is the best one for all your Bashers correspondence and we have your correct phone number (this information is only available to head Bashers so we can wake you up on Sunday morning when you miss the bus etc.) Try to remember to visit here if you leave you phone in a taxi and change your number.

If you have forgotten your cap number try the Bashers Alumni Link in the sidebar.

Secondly, if you didn’t know already, the Your Subscriptions link up the top there under your mugshot allows you to control what you get from us. most of you will just want to make sure you have everything there ticked.

New Bar Name (Poll)

Dear Bashers,

You were all given an opportunity to voice your opinions and idea’s for a name  of the back bar that our title sponsor “The Camel Bar” have been so kind to grant us.

After quite some time and a week of having the chance to lock them in , it is now time once again to exercise your right and vote on the name you like best.

All registered members are allowed to vote on the names they prefer out of the list submitted  for the name of the bar. The top 5 names voted on will then be submitted The Camel Bar for them to choose a name that they believe best suits not only the Bashers but cricket in Shanghai and last but not least their establishment.

You may vote for as many or as few choices as you like i.e. more than one choice.

The voting will be closed on Friday 12th of February 6pm. After that no more votes will be accepted.

Nanjing 2010

Oh God it’s happening again!

After the horror stories that have slowly emerged from the hazy recollections of the inaugural Nanjing tour participants it’s with great excitement and anticipation that we can announce Nanjing 2010. Dates are arranged for March 19th through 21st. Exact details still to be confirmed.
