Detroit Red Wings v Pittsburgh Penguins
Something was made in this weeks Broadcast of embracing new sports and opportunities abound tomorrow.
As if the Sheraton Showdown boxing wasn’t enough! Starting a 8am at the Big Bamboo in Nanyang Road (actually it’s in Detroit but you know what i mean) is the final game of the 7 game Stanley Cup Finals. That’s Ice Hockey my friend. This would be an excellent opportunity to support our Bashers secretary Andy “Tank” Scott who has endured many a state of origin or rugby test match with us. Also a fine chance to charge up on testosterone for the evening.

Longest ever, longest to make, most locations, most guests, this one is an earful!
The fellas head down to Don King’s Gym for a bit of a verbal spar with the combatants in this weekends Sheraton Showdown and after head for a few quiet ones in celebration of Just Beer’s second birthday.
We talk cricket, Nanjing, boxing, midgets and a bit of toilet humour.
Hook into this one – it’s unlike any Broadcast you’ve heard before!
Guys, we need numbers ASAP for Nanjing.
Please refer to last post for schedule [http://basherscc.org/blog/2009/05/07/nanjing-where-you-been/] but we need definite numbers confirmed by tomorrow morning @ the latest.
Stay tuned for final costing as we are working around to make this as affordable for us all.
Thus far, Bashers with interest are as follows:
Would be great to get all confirmations ASAP or I’ll be hassling you as hotel needs final numbers ASAP.
Cheers fellas!
Loose Unit#1
Find out what Freddie really said to Brett Lee when he consoled him at the end of the 2nd test in the 2005 Ashes series:

Reminds me of 2005.
Bring on the Ashes.
So Ireland made it through to the Super Eights stage of the World Twenty20 and Australia did not. They may have been a shade unfortunate to have been drawn in the strongest group in the first stage, but after their drubbing by West Indies on Saturday, Australia were deservedly beaten again last night, with an over to spare, by a Sri Lanka side showing greater invention and composure.
While the rest of the world’s leading teams take aim for the final at Lord’s on June 21, Australia will retire to their new base in Leicester, licking their wounds and kicking their heels. They do not have another game scheduled until they travel to Hove to play Sussex on June 24.
Gents,
Big weekend of cricket ahead of us.
Bashers double header – with Pleasure looking to kick-start their season, and Business looking to regain their rightful position at the top of the table.
Training will take place from 6-8pm this Thursday, 11th June, at the normal venue.
Would be great to get as many of you there as possible.
As always – drinks at the Big Bamboo for those that can make it.
See you there.
