  5. Geek Tip of the Week

First of all thanks to all who responded to my recent email and apologies to the few of you who were not receiving emails. The problem(s) have been located and gaffed together until the bug has been properly squashed.bolic Anyway – some of you may or may not want to be getting all of the stuff going on here. You actually have a lot of control over what you get.
    It’s surprisingly easy to do;
Click on the newly added “Your Subscriptions” link down the left hand side there (you need to be logged in first). That should take you to the following page.

    subscriptions

Here simply select the type of email you’d prefer (if you don’t understand what this means – just leave it) and the Categories you’d like to know about. Most of you of course will want to pick all of them because everything here is well worth hearing about.

Hit “Update Preferences” and you’re done.

any issues – don’t be shy.

We had a record 44 posts last month and this month is on track to get very close to that mark. Not all of those get emailed out so be sure to check the site from time to time for those extra nuggets. If you don’t get any mail for a while – first come to the site to check anything is happening and if you think you’re not getting emails when you should or any other issues or suggestions then get in touch with us blog@basherscc.org.

  7. SUBS and No Training

Further to Dipso’s email last week – I would like to remind everyone to get their Rambos ready.

Annual membership for the Bashers is RMB 2,000 which is an all inclusive cost to play, drink and be entertained by the most successful cricket team in Shanghai. Both on and off the field. That is a fact.

    Paid members thus far are:
    Ollie ‘Stats’ Austin
    Sheyan ‘Dipso’ Patel
    Phil ‘Filthy’ Mildenhall
    Sunny ‘KC’ Sahi
    Desmond ‘Long Dong’ DeSilva
    Andy ‘Tank’ Scott
    Channa ‘Made In’ Phillip

In addition, Circus and Seinfeld have enjoyed the trial period.

I will be in the Big Bamboo on Thursday, and obviously at Masala Art on Friday to pick up mo’ money.

Also with no games this weekend, bar the grudge match between the Shanghai Dragons and Beijing – further information to be announced today, according to Nike Newton – the Bashers can enjoy another week of no training.
Social Director ‘Gall Bladder’ Lapthorne can confirm drinks…
